How Heat Pumps work

The Air Source Heat Pump takes heat from the air and boosts it to a higher temperature using a heat pump. Using electricity and refrigerant technology, the pump compresses refrigerant to increase its temperature. It then condenses back into a liquid to release it as stored heat. Heat is then sent to your radiators or underfloor heating.

Your Air Source Heat Pump installation questions answered

Heat Pumps extract heat from the air, ground, or water and transfer it through a heat exchanger. The heat is then absorbed by refrigerant gas, which increases its temperature. This heated gas is then sent to a compressor, where pressure is applied to further raise the temperature.
